What counts as money back?

Only a confirmed payout. An amount is recorded once the refund, credit, or price adjustment is confirmed. Estimates never count, no matter how likely they look.

How do you know a store's policy?

We only show policies we have verified, with a source and a date. If we have no verified policy for a store, the checker says so rather than guessing at what it might be.

What do you look for?

Price drops and price matching, late delivery and shipping refunds, return and warranty windows, duplicate subscription charges, and fees that can be reversed.

What happens if a store says no?

It stays on your timeline with the reason recorded, so you always know where things stand. Where a policy allows it to be taken further, that's noted too.

Do I have to connect Gmail?

No. Inbox access is not required, and Ecroo does not connect to inboxes today. You add purchases yourself, either by typing them in or by uploading a receipt. If an optional inbox connector is offered later, it would need your separate approval.

Who can see my purchases?

You. The only exception is operations staff working on a case you've asked us to help with, and that access is limited and recorded.

Can I remove something I added?

Yes. If you added a purchase by mistake or change your mind, you can remove it from your account.
